Lucy Boden is an illustrator and aspiring author specialising in children’s books. She has been bringing stories to life as an illustrator for 15+ years with experience across picture book, educational and editorial publishing.

Lucy has a meticulous eye for detail and creates gentle, warm and humorous illustrations. Her work is inspired by a childhood roaming the Cotswolds and a love of nature. More recent inspiration has been provided by her two young daughters.
 

Alongside freelancing, Lucy has previously worked as a specialist painter for a leading British artist.

 

Lucy studied Illustration at Falmouth University, graduating with a BA(Hons) in 2009. 

 

She lives in the Cotswolds with her husband and two daughters.
